Previously, Thibert worked with various investment banks specializing in the small and mid-cap segment. He notably participated in various transactions with investment funds (Eurazeo, Tikehau Capital, UI Investissement, Arkea Capital, etc.) and large groups (ASN, CBRE, etc.) in their build-up strategies.
After joining Clearwater International within the Origination division, he decided to offer a business intelligence consulting service around strategic mergers and acquisitions.
Thibert is also an M&A Operation Expert for the French investment fund Naxicap Partners.

Guillaume Fontan
CTO
Guillaume joined Origination as CTO. A graduate of Centrale Lyon and Imperial College, he has developed deep expertise in building LLMs and AI agents tailored to operational challenges.

Before joining Origination, he contributed to the development of AI-driven analytics tools for a London-based startup, worked on large-scale web platforms in the real-estate tech sector, and helped build complex software systems in the cloud technology industry.

A graduate with a Master’s degree in Finance from IÉSEG, Hugo completed several internships that enabled him to develop strong expertise in financial analysis and Private Equity. He began his career in audit at EY before joining Ardian’s investment teams, where he further strengthened his skills in financial modeling and company valuation.

These diverse experiences have given him an in-depth understanding of the financial challenges associated with investment transactions, as well as a strong ability to perform in demanding and international environments.
